About TrueHearts
A small team building the dating site we wanted to use ourselves.
Why we built this
Most dating apps are designed to keep you on the app. That is a strange goal for a product whose job is to help you meet somebody and leave. We started TrueHearts in 2024 with the opposite aim: get people who want the same thing in front of each other quickly, honestly, and safely.
That is why intentions are stated on every profile, why photo verification exists, and why the free plan is genuinely usable rather than a demo.
How we make money
From optional subscriptions - nothing else. We do not sell member data, we do not run pay-per-message schemes, and we do not create fake or automated profiles to keep conversations going. Every profile you see belongs to a real person who signed up.
Our full pricing and billing terms are published before you pay anything.
What we will not do
- Charge you without an explicit, informed confirmation.
- Make cancellation harder than subscribing.
- Send messages from accounts that are not real members.
- Sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
- Allow sexual content, harassment, solicitation or anyone under 18.
