Delete my data
Ask us to delete your account and personal data, or to send you a copy of it.
The fastest way: do it yourself
If you can sign in, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: your profile, photos, matches and messages are removed, and backups are purged within 30 days. Use the form below if you cannot sign in.
What deletion actually removes
- Your profile, photos, bio and preferences.
- Your matches and message history.
- Your email address and date of birth.
- Analytics and advertising identifiers we hold that are linked to you.
What we have to keep, and why
- Payment and tax records - for 7 years, to meet US tax record-keeping rules. These contain the amount, date and invoice number, not your dating activity.
- Safety records - if your account was removed for a serious breach, we keep a minimal record for up to 3 years so the account cannot simply be recreated.
- Anything subject to a live legal hold - for example an ongoing investigation.
Third parties
We instruct our processors to delete your data too. Where you consented to advertising cookies, you can additionally control the data Google and Meta hold about you in Google My Ad Center and in your Meta account settings. Clearing your cookie choice here does not by itself delete data already held by those companies.
